![]() At this point, ARCHICAD is caught in a catch 22 situation. This gets complicated, however, if multiple attribute types are reserved, and modified, all by different users. Also, with regards to attributes, if one team member has an attribute type reserved, the other team member creates a new attribute, they will not be able to send their changes until the first team member releases that attribute type. If one team member reserves the entire embedded library, and another team member loads an image or object to the embedded library, this can block the user who made the modifications from sending and receiving changes. Two examples of this are the embedded library and the attributes. This error happens when one team member has a portion of a file reserved, and another team member modifies a subpart to that. ![]() It is not always easy to fix, depending on how many people are in the project. Why should they buy in this uncertain times? How are the new AC 24 and BIM Cloud 2020.This is a common error in our daily teamwork operations, and an easy one to prevent. While It is more common now days, there are many business owners out there that have to make informed decisions, but have not come to understand how this feature could be useful. It feels like Graphisoft is assuming that we all know how cloud storage works. There should be a feature list with a comparison of the old and new, paid and free, with explanations on what each listed feature does. The only explanations that I can find on BIM Cloud are vague and too brief. ![]() The page needs to be clear how these new features only work with AC24. But I have not found a page that explains what file types will be stored on BIM Cloud. Is there a web page that explains the new features of file handling as you explained to me? I heard this from you, because I asked and from the live online presentation revealing of AC24 with the new BIM Cloud.
